I’m Nayibe Nassar,

I studied Fashion Design at the  Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), born and raised in the heart of Central America, Honduras. I never outgrew my kid-like curious mind. If anything as the years pass by I grow all-the-more curious and eager to know, explore and research the world further. I love to use fashion as an excuse to do these things whilst simultaneously constructing unfamiliar ways of seeing it.

I’m interested in the marriage of fashion design and industrial design creating a fresh dialogue between the imaginative drapes, techniques and processes of early couture and the materials and new technologies of industrial design; finding the perfect meeting point between the two allows for innovative materials, constructions, and silhouettes that will disrupt monotone fashion practices and bring to life new notions of the same.
